Application of project-based methodology in teaching drafting

This article examines the application of the project-based methodology in teaching drafting as an effective approach to integrating students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills. It highlights the role of project-based learning in the development of engineering thinking, creative abilities, and students' technical literacy. The interdisciplinary connections between drafting and other subjects such as computer science, mathematics, visual arts, and physics are analyzed. The study demonstrates that incorporating project-based tasks into the educational process fosters the development of spatial thinking, mastery of digital design tools (AutoCAD, Kompas-3D, SolidWorks), and preparation for engineering activities. The advantages of the project-based approach in education are considered, including teamwork, independent development of technical documentation, and adaptation to modern technological standards. The significance of project-based methodology for students' pre-professional training and their successful transition to higher education is emphasized.
