The use of mobile applications in the educational process increasing its efficiency. In this paper such a specially designed application is proposed to be used for solving Diophantine equations with two unknowns as an addition to the main form of teaching. It is about elective classes in preparation for the USE in mathematics. First, students are offered to study the basic theoretical material, including various methods of solving linear Diophantine equations. Then they can consolidate the acquired theoretical knowledge in practice. Trainees can find arithmetic and algorithmic errors in Euclid's algorithm using a mobile application specially developed for this purpose. By entering the coefficients of the equation, users get not only the answer, but also a detailed step-by-step solution of the Euclidean method.
