Application of rating mathematical models for analyzing the effectiveness of economic processes

The analysis of the effectiveness of economic processes is an important measure in assessing the state and development of any branch of the country’s economy. Among the many approaches to its implementation, it is of interest to use various methods based on the use of rating mathematical models that include many performance indicators. As an object of research for the application of these models, the agricultural industry of the Krasnodar Territory was identified as a region that occupies a leading position in the domestic agro-industrial complex. Based on this analysis, three model agricultural enterprises were evaluated and their economic efficiency rating for 2019-2020 was calculated. Over the last years of the previous decade, the development of the agro-industrial complex of the regions and Russia as a whole was negatively affected by the influence of many factors. In this regard, an appropriate period was determined for the analysis, which allows comparing changes in key indicators. Using the principles underlying the evaluation of the efficiency of enterprises, the economic efficiency of three model enterprises of the same industry was calculated using the matrix method, block and integral indicators. The matrix method involves the use of indicators included in the groups of final results, costs and resources.
