The application of x-ray diffraction and Barkhausen noise for studying of shot peened constructional steel 30HGSA

Our work is aimed at the objective determination of residual stresses in 30HGSA steel after shot peening. When performing research was used portable x-ray diffractometer “Xstress 3000/G3R”, Barkhausen noise analyzer “Rollscan 300”.Residual stresses were determined by x-ray structure analysis.The interrelation of residual stresses and Barkhausen noise was shown.
