Application of the SIR model to epidemic modeling

Бесплатный доступ

This article discusses mathematical modeling, which is used in epidemiology. In particular, the SIR model is given as an example, which is simple and basic for other models. The peculiarity of this model is that it is based on a system of differential equations. The article lists both the advantages of the SIR model and its disadvantages. As a result, we presented a system of equations, and also considered an analytical picture of morbidity.
