Application of business intelligence (BI) systems for data analysis in DBMS

This article focuses on the application of Business Intelligence (BI) systems for analyzing data from DBMSs to support managerial decision-making. In the context of digital transformation and growing data volumes, BI systems play a key role in integrating, processing, visualizing, and forecasting information. The article discusses BI tools such as correlation and relationship analysis, "what-if" analysis, and forecasting methods, as well as types of reports and graphs, including OLAP-based summary and dynamic reports. The process of data preparation and cleansing is highlighted to emphasize the importance of ensuring analytical accuracy. The article demonstrates how BI helps optimize business processes and improve decision-making in an environment of uncertainty.
