Application of the system methodology in the analysis of political processes

The author discusses the origins of the system approach, estimates contribution of the most prominent researchers in the development of this methodology that influenced a lot the science in general. Application of the system approach in political studies prompted development of political science in the XX century. Moreover, nowadays this concept is still applied widely in modern researches.
