Application of modern computer-aided design systems in teaching students engineering graphics

The article reviews the implementation of modern design approaches in teaching students engineering graphics in technical universities. At present, the foundation of engineering activity is a three-dimensional parametric modeling, creation and usage of graphic detailed databases and automated obtaining of drawing for a three-dimensional model. The article represents the methods of automated verification of graphic assignments of students by AutoCAD tools. The paper provides experimental evidence of the effectiveness for the proposed methods of teaching engineering graphics.
