Application of the resolutions of the European Court of Human Rights and European Convention on human rights by the general jurisdiction courts in the criminal proceedings

This article reviews how the general jurisdiction courts apply the Resolutions of the European Court of Human Rights and European Convention on Human Rights when executing the criminal proceedings. The undertaken research shows the development level of the criminal procedure in Russia in the context of familiarization with the international European regulations regarding the human rights. The author carries out a system analysis of the national laws in the sphere of the attitude of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation during adoption of the European standards by the national criminal proceeding. The subject matter under consideration is of the many-sided nature.
