The use of technical means of customs control for the detection of narcotic and psychotropic compounds

Illicit drug trafficking entails not only threats to the population of the State, but also economic and political problems in general. The article examines the activities of the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation in terms of law enforcement activities in terms of countering drug smuggling, including customs control using technical means. The analysis of the seized narcotic drugs and a brief summary of the currently used technical means of customs control have been carried out. In conclusion, the conclusions of the study are presented.
