Application of mineral fertilizers and growth regulators in the cultivation of spicy-aromatic and essential-oil plants

The results of the effect of mineral fertilizers and growth regulators on the yield and quality of spicy-aromatic and essential-oil plants on the sod-podzolic loamy soil are presented. The purpose of the study of the study was to study the agronomic efficiency of mineral fertilizers and growth regulators in the cultivation of new varieties of spice-aromatic and essential-oil plants of the selection of the Belarusian State Agricultural Academy in the soil and climatic conditions of the Republic of Belarus. As a result of field studies it was found out that the use of full mineral fertilizer NPK increased the yield of the green mass of annual spice-aromatic and essential-oil plants (basil, blue fenugreek, borago) by 22-36%, perennial spice-aromatic and essential-oil plants (oregano, hyssop, fragrant onion) - by 23-25%. Non-root treatment of crops by growth regulators of stimulating action (rostmoment, hydrohumat, humanat) increased the yield of the green mass of studied spice-aromatic and essential-oil plants by 5-9%. The content of essential oils and raw protein depended to a lesser extent on the experimental variants and was more of a distinctive species and variety feature of the plants studied.
