«Examples» from rhetoric and the literary culture of the vyg old-believers

The paper deals with the problems of the early 18th century Old-Believers Literary Culture. «Еxamples» («paradigms») from the hand-written rhetorical anthologies, which had influenced sermon, a central element in the Vyg Old-Believers' literary creativity, are analyzed. Special attention is paid to the analysis of examples from Kozma's baroque rhetoric, which the Old-Believers had heavily edited.
