Historicism in contemporary historical science

The article describes the main components of one of the most important principles of scientific research, namely, historicism. Its implementation requires understanding history as a definite process, varying in essence and in course of time, taking into account particular historical conditions (circumstances), when process development (change) took place, connection of facts (events) with other objects in the process. The given principle provides isolation of philosophical history, allows to reveal some tendencies of the historical process, to sum up the gained experience, and to develop practical recommendations.
