Принцип эксплозии: Аристотель и современные синтаксические теории

Принцип эксплозии проблематичен для синтактических теорий, призванных объяснить и описать человеческое рассуждение. На самом деле, большинство формальных когнитивных теорий стремятся от него избавиться. Однако отказ от этого принципа зачастую основан не на умозрительном развитии той или иной теории, а на индуктивном заключении на основе эмпирических данных. В данной статье я разбираю аргументы Вуда и Ирвина, и показываю, что для аристотелевской логики это не проблема и ее теоретический каркас не нуждается в принятии принципа эксплозии, а значит, античная теория, по крайней мере в этом отношении, имеет определенные преимущества по сравнению с современными синтактическими теориями.
