In this article, the author reveals the content of the concept of «the principle of systematicity», which emphasizes the applied orientation of physical education in relation to labor, professional or other activities that require appropriate physical fitness of a person, and also consider the implementation of this principle. Throughout the training, the requirements for the level of physical fitness not only remain high, but also become more complex with each course of training. At the same time, it is worth noting that special importance should be attached to the formation of physical culture of the individual throughout the entire training. The essence of this principle is revealed in a number of provisions concerning the regularity of classes and the system of alternating loads with rest, as well as the sequence of classes and the relationship between the various aspects of their content
