On the basis of the analysis of amendments to the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation regarding such characteristic as actual knowledge of the victim’s age, and the points of view existing in the legal literature, the authors make an attempt to formulate a proposal to improve the criminal legislation concerning the prevention of departure from the principle of guilt.
