The author analyzes judicial acts in which the Intellectual property court (IPC) applies the principle of legitimate (reasonable) expectations when verifying the legality of decisions of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property (Rospatent) in 2020. He comments on the practice of Rospatent and the IPC, examples of which can be used when forming the position of the applicants as part of the consideration of objections in the administrative body and during the subsequent verification of its decisions in the IPC.
