The Abhidharma principles in the Chinese social and cultural context

The article is devoted to the Abhidharma tradition in the Chinese social and cultural context and it determines the role and the place of Abhidharma in the Chinese Buddhism system. The author analyzes the Chinese Buddhism formation process and the Abhidharma teaching participation in it. The relations between Abhidharma and Chinese traditional doctrines Daocism and Confucianism are examined in the article
