Principles and reconstruction results for the Barents Sea and Timan-Pechora areas density models

For the purpose of increase the reliability of results of construction of density models of geological media the method of volumetrical structural-density modeling of the geological medium, with the set degree of accuracy satisfying the observed gravitational field is developed and approved in territory of the Pechora- Barents Sea region. During works the initial approach has been formulated and gravitational modeling by series of profiles executed. The obtained depth model of Barents Sea basin is presented by three basic boundaries: Mohorovichich boundary, Conrad boundary and footing boundary. The conducted researches allow to draw a conclusion on the conduct of the Еarths crust boundary of the division and to establish peculiarities of structure of Earths crust in the area of crossing from passive margin of continent to the oceans trench.
