The article reveals theoretical bases and principles of the speech therapy aimed at the prevention and correction of dyscalculia of preschool and junior school age children with severe speech disorders (SSD). The author substantiates relevance of each principle and condition, as well as takes into account the complex nature of mathematical operations, presents a phased methodology of mental development helping children with SSD to implement the aforesaid activities.
