The purpose of the work is to rethink legal structures and the role of law in the digital economy and to develop effective mechanisms for their regulation. The article uses methods of system analysis, comparative law and theoretical research. The current challenges related to the need to adapt the legal system to the rapidly changing conditions of digitalization, as well as the need to create new norms and standards for effective regulation, are considered. The role of the state as a driving force of change in the context of the introduction of innovative technologies and the formation of a new infrastructure for the provision of services is discussed. There are two main positions among legal scholars regarding the principles of information and legal support for the digital economy: some researchers advocate the use of existing legislation, while others consider this approach insufficiently justified. The importance of the work lies in the need for constant analysis and adaptation of the legal system to the conditions of the digital economy, which emphasizes the importance of regulatory regulation for sustainable development in this area.
