Quality management principles as a tool for providing management quality for sustainable development of territories

The article describes one of the aspects of providing quality management for territory development, namely the application of quality management principles for that purpose. It gives arguments for the necessity of managing this activity on the basis of quality management principles. A special attention is paid to the need for correcting the principles’ content due to the nature of the problem. The authors specify the benefits that a territory receives as a result of implementing quality management principles. The application of Deming's principles and the use of standards for improving municipal authorities’ efficiency are also considered.
