Principles of construction of ground-based seismic and acoustic complexes for monitoring local areas

This article discusses various options for using physical factors as sources of information about the impact sites of fragments of separating parts of launch vehicles. The choice and principles of building seismoacoustic systems for monitoring local areas of the Earth's surface in order to detect fragments are substantiated. Some forms and methods of seismoacoustic monitoring are considered with an assessment of their accuracy capabilities, practical applicability, basic operational characteristics and application prospects are disclosed, taking into account the interference situation.
