The paper reviews legal education of cadets of educational institutions of the MIA of Russia in the context of revealing the nature and content of fundamental principles, including humanity, legality, democracy, scientific character, objectivity and others. On the basis of the undertaken research the author of the paper concludes that it is necessary to comply with the listed principles as part of legal education of that category of students.
