The principles of designing a syllabus on the basis of the advance approach

This article is dedicated to one of the main elements of vocational higher education that is a syllabus. The upcoming post-industrial society and introduction of the competency-based approach set new goals for the education system. The traditional approach cannot provide their consideration and realization. An alternative can be offered by the advance approach. This article analyses the necessity to use a reverse design in the development of the modern syllabus and studies the principles of designing a syllabus with regard to the reverse design.
