Principles of the creation of electronic bilingual dictionary

The article investigates the basic principles of making a multifunctional bilingual electronic dictionary for current operating systems. Computational linguistics as an independent Applied Linguistics is by no means interconnected with classical branches such as Lexicology and Lexicography. The article analyses the algorithm of making an e-dictionary satisfying particular social requirements.
