This article deals with the problems of organization and management of innovative activity of the Russian enterprises in the transition of the world economy from the fifth to the sixth technological order. In particular, the article discusses the need to review some of the principles of organization and management of innovative activity of the enterprise in connection with the need to intensify the transition of Russian companies to the technologies of the sixth order. The authors proposed to complete the basic principles of organization and management of innovative activity of the enterprise by the following principles: systematic innovation principle (innovation should be carried out continuously and in all areas of activity of the enterprise); balance of innovations (innovations in the fields of activity of the enterprise, which is not directly related to the release of products or services, should be made in sufficient quantities in order not to constrain product development and technology); integration (enterprise should, where possible, be integrated into the structure of a larger scale, for the implementation of demanding projects).
