Coercive measures of educational influence as an element of the restorative model of juvenile justice in Russia

A differentiated approach to juvenile participants in criminal proceedings should be focused on the development of a restorative, educational and correctional model of juvenile justice in Russia, aimed at facilitating the reintegration of a minor offender and fulfilling a useful role in society. The institution of coercive measures of educational influence is one of the main elements of this model. The article presents a legal analysis of the concept and system of coercive measures of educational influence provided for by law, and considers the procedure for their application in the practice of law enforcement and judicial bodies. The study revealed a number of problems that affect the effectiveness and efficiency of the use of coercive measures of educational influence in the framework of law enforcement activities.
