Acquisition and termination of citizenship of the Russian Federation

This article discusses the issues of in-depth study of the grounds for acquiring and terminating citizenship, the results of studying the scientific and legal literature on this topic, the analysis of individual examples of judicial practice, the study of the legal positions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation. The essence of the act of admission to citizenship is to grant the status of a citizen of the Russian Federation to a person who has applied for admission to Russian citizenship and that person meets the criteria established for admission to citizenship.
