Priority scientific directions in the sphere of countering crime in Russia

The article proposes to consider such a category as the counteraction to crime, which, in the author's opinion, represents a priority in the criminal policy of the state in combating crime, at the present stage of the development of society. An electronic open database containing more than 22 million scientific publications for the determination of priority scientific directions for combating crime is analyzed. The obtained data are compared with data representing the state and structure of modern crime.
