The priorities of patriotic education of children in spiritual and spatial environment of Russia

The article analyzes the priority directions of patriotic education of children in modern conditions. It highlights the special role of family in spiritual and spatial environment, substantiates the increasing importance of institutions of additional education of children and professional activities of social pedagogues. The authors consider the readiness for creative professional work in the future as the main criterion of patriotic education of children and youth.
