Priorities of the scientific and technological sector development in Russia and China

The article examines the features of the development of the economies of China and Russia, the contribution of countries to the scientific and technological sector to improve the rating of states on the world stage at the present stage of development. The authors studied the position of countries in the ranking of readiness for innovative technological development, assessed the difficulties and priorities of increasing the share of the innovation industry in the GDP of China and Russia based on strategic development programs.
