Priorities of the strategic development of the agro-industrial complex of the Samara region

A significant number of Russian regions are actively involved in the implementation of tasks aimed at granting agriculture, the realization of promising directions of development of the regional Agro-Industrial Complex (hereinafter AIC), thus realizing the strategic socio-economic goals of the territories. The presented scientific article analyzes the priority directions of develop- ment of AIC of the Samara region, summarizes the features of the regional agro-industrial policy, describes the elements of the strategic planning of AIC of the Samara region, and gives examples of the introduction of new drivers of economic growth in the agricultural economy of the region. Special attention is paid to the synthesis and evaluation of strategic projects in the field of AIC, which are essential for the economy of the Samara region.
