Natural nitrogen-containing bases of the 1-pseudobenzylisoquinoline type

This article analyzes the structure, properties, synthesis and natural ways of transformation of pseudo benzylisoquinoline alkaloids isolated from plants of the Ranunculaceae, Berberidaceae and Pareaveraceae families. Also, the sources of isolation, interconversion, reactivity of 1-pseudobenzylisoquinoline alkaloids are briefly discussed and the establishment of the structure of some alkaloids using physico-chemical analysis methods is examined.
