Privatization and vouchers: linguo-mental aspect

The author proves that the causes of the catastrophe of privatization at the beginning of 1990s were rooted in the peculiarities of Russian mentality. In Russia of those years there was a situation of “linguocultural impasse” because of common men’s inability to adequately comprehend the semantics of lexemes privatization and voucher.
