Privatization in Russia in the 90s of the XX century

This article discusses the problem of privatization in Russia and its subsequent impact on the country's economy. There is comparison of the positive and negative results of the privatization. The article reveals the processes of the predominance of the state form of ownership in the country's economy, which lead to the emergence of a state monopoly, detrimental to the development of the economy, for the consumer, the population and extremely beneficial to the manufacturer. That is why denationalization and privatization are necessary. Based on the analysis of the phenomenon of privatization, it is established that in Russia the development of the stock market reflected, at least in part, the struggle for the redistribution of property between old and new elite social groups. Such is the deep social meaning of the economic processes discussed below.
