The article presents the results of a lifetime assessment of the meat productivity of the Aberdeen-Angus bull calves. The studies were carried out in 2017-2018. in the conditions of a modern livestock complex LLC "AIC FLOCK" Solnechnogorsk district of the Moscow region. The goal of the research is the lifetime assessment of the meat productivity of Aberdeen-Angus bulls with different methods of animal management. To conduct the experiment by the method of pairs-analogs from calves of the Aberdeen-Angus breed, two groups of bulls, with 12 heads in each, were formed. Duration of experience was from birth to 16 months of age. Animals' management in the first experimental group was boxed, in the second - free-range in pens. The live weight of bulls upon reaching 16 months was 479.3 ± 10.63 kg for the first group and 463.2 ± 7.69 kg in the second, which indicates a good growth and development of the studied animals. The highest rates of average daily gain were obtained at the age of 12 to 16 months. The averaged in the first group was1051 g and 1003 g was in the second group. The bulls of the I group in terms of measurements of body at the age of 16 months exceeded their analogs from the II group in almost all parameters, with the exception of the height at the withers. The analysis of the conducted studies indicates that for the most indicators (live weight, average daily gain, meat content coefficient), there was some superiority of the bulls of the first group kept in boxes compared to animals on range management.
