Signs of the recidivism concept

The article is devoted to the analysis of signs of recidivism. The greatest attention is paid to the criminal record. The author points out some problems of understanding and interpretation of the provisions enshrined in Article 18 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. Based on the analysis of the Criminal Code, the author concludes that the legislator's desire to narrow the scope of the legal concept of recidivism. There is a need for further theoretical development of this issue.
