The recognition of children as subjects with rights: of the history of legislation and political thought of the past

In the historical and legal Sciences it is quite rare to find studies on the process of the birth and recognition of children (minors) as full subjects of society and law. Even less frequently, the question of the emergence and normative consolidation of the duties of the child is studied, since in legal science the primary issue is always the rights of minors, respectively, often the authors devote their work to the history of the birth and the consolidation of the rights of the child. This article will be devoted to the consideration of the process of the birth of legal personality of children. On the basis of normative legal acts of the Ancient world and the middle Ages, the process of normative consolidation of the child's duties in foreign countries is highlighted, and a similar process that took place in Russia is considered.
