Probation as a legal institution in the system of measures for social adaptation of convicted persons

This scientific article examines the essence and features of probation as a legal institution in the system of measures of social adaptation of convicts. This applies to both foreign experience and Russian practice. Within the framework of this work, the provision of Federal Law № 10-FZ dated February 6, 2023 “On Probation in the Russian Federation” was investigated and analyzed, taking into account the opinions of representatives of law enforcement practice and the scientific community in the field of implementing measures of social adaptation of convicts.
