Gaps in laws affecting the enforcement activities of the police

This article raises urgent and actual in modern conditions the problem of the efficiency of enforcement activities of the police. The author substantiates the position that the lack of high efficiency of the enforcement activities of the police is affected by, among other good reasons whitespace legislation used by the police, the poor quality of legislation as a primary form of criminal policy of the Russian state. In this regard, this article provides specific examples of gaps in the current legislation of the Russian Federation, preventing the achievement of police assigned to it by state and society of problems, and suggests ways of addressing them.
