Oil and gas pipelines refer to energy-intensive objects, the failures of which are accompanied by significant material and environmental damage. Accidents on technological pipelines transporting fire-explosive products lead to local and general pollution of the environment, creating an increased risk to the safety of personnel and the public. According to statistics of accidents on the linear part of the main oil and gas pipeline, the presence of a corrosion factor indicates. The greatest danger is stress corrosion, because it is subject to large-diameter pipelines, the failure of which leads to economic and environmental damage with possible irreparable consequences for the environment. Therefore, finding effective ways to ensure the constructive reliability of pipelines is a highly topical task with high environmental responsibility.
