The Attribution Problem of “The Word of Theodosius, Hegumen of the Cave, on the Christian and Latin Faith” The article gives almost an exhaustive historiographic essay on the attribution problem of “The Word on the Christian and Latin Faith” ascribed to Ven. Theodosius of the Cave (died 1074) or to Theodosius the Greek, hegumen of the Kiev Cave Monastery (died 1156), and lists new arguments for the authorship of the latter. Although the issue does not seem to be finally solved, the point being proved about Theodosius the Greek’s authorship is better substantiated by indirect evidences than the opposite opinion.
