The problem of unemployment in single-industry towns

In this paper we consider the problem of unemployment in single-industry towns. Currently, company towns are experiencing a lot of difficulties. This critical situation is largely due to historical peculiarities of development of territories of our country over a long period of time. In addition, the problems of single-industry towns has been given very little attention over the past twenty years. The sharp aggravation of the socio-economic problems is a natural result of the development of the Russian economy.
