The problem of the biomechanical principles of surgical correction of femoral head ellipsoid deformity

The biomechanical analysis of the hip functioning was made for the head ellipsoid deformity. It was determined that in case of the head ellipsoid deformity the compensatory-and-adaptive complex was formed, which had great reserve potentials but within rather narrow functional limits. Both the algorithm and the technique of surgical correction preoperative modelling were proposed in view of the features revealed.
