Effective functioning of the education system requires clear definition of its purpose. Definition of the integral purpose of physical education in higher education should focus on personal development and general cultural competence of students. As a result of training, education and development, students should get such professional awareness, in which values of physical culture are relevant and systematically organized, determining proactive and competent work in socio-professional sphere and personal life.
