The author considers his teaching as a religious paradigm of understanding the essence of man. The article presents the anthropological views of A.S. Khomyakov, using the method of historical and philosophical reconstruction. The article, first of all, analyzes the interpretation of the problem of human existence in the Slavophil historiosophical concept using the example of the work of the abovementioned thinker. The author examines his teaching within the framework of the religious paradigm of understanding the essence of man. The study concludes that in the concept of A.S. Khomyakov as a representative of Russian Slavophilism, a person should be freely integrated into personally significant ontological orders of divine integrity. At the same time, a person should strive to become a fullfledged personality, which is an integral part of the consular spiritual and ecclesiastical life. This, according to the Slavophil, is the true and ultimate meaning of man as a spiritual, social and biological being.
