The problem of action in drama: Hegel’s "Aesthetics" translations in the context of Russian critical and study of literature traditions

The article discusses the complexity of the term “action” in context of Russian critical and literary tradition. The author of the article arrives to a conclusion that both in Russian criticism and literary study these terms are traditionally used in two meanings: the actions of the character and dramatic act. There is a hypothesis according to which the feature results from as translation as text problems.
