The problem of differentiation of Russian regions by level of socio-economic development: solutions to problems

The article examines the main approaches to the analysis of factors of socio-economic development, analyzes the problems of socio-economic inequality of regions and proposes measures to improve regional policy. The adjusting of levels of socio-economic development of regions have always been especially relevant and important. At present it is necessary to solve these problems, first of all, on the basis of formation of effective spatial structure of the economy. In Russia should be a more balanced regional policy aimed at stimulating regional development through the use of competitive advantages.
