Problems of discipline and moral upbringing in V. G. Belinskiy's pedagogical works

The article gives a retrospective analysis of progressive concepts in Belinskiy's pedagogical works. The author underlines the importance of disci-pline in children's moral upbringing. She shows the peculiarities of approaches to reward and punishment which are valuable in the modern theory and practice.
